T-13 DAYS

I was sitting at a local cafe this afternoon when I suddenly realized ... there's only 13 days left until I hop on a plane to NY/Boston! Although my itinerary isn't currently set in stone yet, you can only imagine how many food places I am anticipating to try!

DAPHNE'S CURRENT E-SCENT-UALS

I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way but I get tired of perfume very easily. Right when I think I've found THE ONE, I somehow manage to fall head over heels in love with another scent in about a month or two (if not sooner). It really is a dangerous situation every time I walk through the perfume section of Sephora .... (can't we just have it alllll?)

With that being said, here are my 5 current favorite perfumes and a brief description about each of them. All can be found at Sephora. Enjoy!

1 // TORY BURCH

Notes: Neroli, Grapefruit, Cassis, Bergamot, Peony, Tuberose, Jasmine Sambac, Vetiver, Sandalwood.

2 //  LIGHT BLUE BY DOLCE & GABBANA

Notes: Sicilian Citron, Bluebell, Granny Smith Apple, Jasmine Sambac, Bamboo, White Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Musk.

3 // POPPY BY COACH

Notes: Cucumber Flower Petals, Mandarin, Baby Freesia Buds, Jasmine, Pink Water Lily, Southern Gardenia, Rose Petals, Crème Brûlée Accord, Cedarwood, Bleached Sandalwood, Vanilla, Whipped Marshmallow. 

4 // BURBERRY BRIT SHEER

Notes: Bright Yuzu, Pineapple Leaves, Litchi, Mandarin, Grapes, Pink Peony, Peach Blossom, Nashi, White Musk and Creamy Amyris Woods.  

5 // CHLOE

FEB14 FAVORS

Whether you celebrate Valentine's Day or not, it's always nice to show your family, friends, or significant other that you care. I put together an extremely simple gift idea for my closest girlfriends (since I'm single  :P )  and it was affordable and requires very few artistic abilities. 

You need:

• Red construction paper (or any color would work, I chose red to match the tissue paper in the gift!)
• Scissors
• White gel pen (bought mine from Joann's)
• Black pen 
• Your choice of gift 

I folded the construction paper in half and cut a "semi-heart" (hrmm?) and VOILA! I added some black lines at the edge of the heart to give off a sewn look, wrote a short personalized message, and paper-clipped the little card to the giftbag. I chose the 1.7 oz SOAP&GLORY Righteous Body Butter because it is ahhh-mazzingggg! It was only $5 from Sephora and perfect for on-the-go!
